To create and maintain eCommerce websites for our clients, we are seeking to employ an experienced Magento developer. In your role as a Magento developer, you will communicate with the design team, set up Magento 1x and 2x sites, create modules and tailor extensions, test the functionality of each site, and maintain security and feature updates after the installation is finished.
You need strong skills in object-oriented programming, Magento and Java development certifications, and project management skills to succeed as a Magento developer. A skilled Magento developer can ultimately create and maintain an intuitive eCommerce platform that completely satisfies the client’s requirements.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of Magento experience.
- Work effectively on multiple activities and projects.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Experience in E-Commerce standards and security requirements preferred.
- Experience managing, troubleshooting, and optimizing Magento.
- Highly proficient in PHP & JavaScript development.
- Proficiency in Web & App frontend platforms: HTML, JS, CSS LESS, MySQL.
- Strong communication skills: specifically, the ability to articulate complex systems, code or processes into understandable terms for non-technical business colleagues.
Responsibilities:
- Creating and setting up eCommerce websites with Magento 1x and 2x.
- Coding Magneto templates
- Implementing recommended practices when creating Magento modules in PHP.
- Designing interfaces and themes
- Defining performance objectives and tasks
- Investigating and troubleshooting integration problems
- Updating security updates and website features
